California Road Studios, an award-winning film production company based out of Orchard Park, NY, announced the nationwide premiere of A Story Worth Living on Thursday May 19th. The full-length feature film – filmed and produced by California Road Studios on behalf of And Sons Films and Ransomed Heart – premiered locally at the Regal Transit Center Stadium 18 & IMAX at 6707 Transit Road in Williamsville, NY at 730pm on Thursday, May 19th. The film, distributed by Fathomed Events, was shown in over 400 theaters nationwide.
“A Story Worth Living is the first full-length feature film for which we’ve provided full production and post production, representing an important milestone project for the diverse and ever-expanding portfolio of California Road Studios and The Eastco Group,” said Jim Kirchmeyer, Owner of The Eastco Group. “We are excited to showcase this visually-stunning work to a national audience.”
The documentary film follows a group that includes New York Times bestselling author John Eldredge and his three sons, as well as two others, on a thousand-mile motorcycle quest across some of the most dangerous terrain in Colorado – a death-defying quest for answers to life’s deepest questions.
California Road Studios managed the film’s production, including on-site direction, filming, and post-production. California Road Studios is a member company of The Eastco Group, an award-winning marketing and communications firm also based out of Orchard Park, NY, which also produced the marketing and collateral materials for the film.
The film sold out in several markets – nearly 40,000 tickets sold and still counting – AND we are doing a follow-up series of short films.
